  • Participated in Youth Interfaith Events at St Monica’s and Al Siraat.

Over the years we have developed the Whittlesea Interfaith logo, banners, information pamphlets and bookmarks.

Participated in the “Blessing of the Fleet” each year

We have attended each other Members special celebrations and events at our own individual Places of Worship, including a meal at the Sikh Gurdwara

So you see we have been very busy and inclusive since our inception.

Whittlesea Interfaith Network has a long and proud history of developing platforms for Interfaith dialogue in the City of Whittlesea.  Our members are made of the many religions represented in the region.

We welcome new members from all faiths to join the Whittlesea Interfaith Network to participate in and lead programs that encourage greater social  inclusion and harmony.

Over the years we have mostly held a large event each year, such as Exhibitions, Forums, Community Expos and Festivals.

Below are a list of the events and programs we’ve hosted and participated in the past since our establishment in 2006;

  • Peace, Harmony and Understanding
  • Celebration of Faith
  • Faith, Love, Mystery and Journey
  • Faith, Festivals and Food
  • Talking Faith – Focussing of Youth and Women
  • Promoting Harmony –  Racial and Religious Diversity

We usually have a couple of Guest Speakers at our Monthly Meetings, including several Indigenous Speakers.
