WIN members set out for a visit to German Lutheran Trinity Church on Eastern Hill on Friday, 18th Feb 2022, where we met with and listened to German Pastor Christoph Dielmann for World Interfaith Harmony Week. We learnt about the church, its history and congregation, the Lutheran faith and Pastor Christoph’s own journey to Melbourne. The tour concluded with him playing a beautiful song, written by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, on his guitar for us.
We are very grateful to Pastor Christoph for making us feel so warmly welcomed and thank him for his time in answering our many questions and sharing his wide knowledge with us: Von Herzen ganz vielen lieben Dank!!!
